Timesheet software for an agency with a team across several countries
Weekly timesheets with a minimum that adjusts for holidays and leave, plus a report for managers.
We built Fame timesheets with a 35-hour weekly minimum that adjusts automatically for public holidays in each person's region and for approved leave, plus a report that shows managers who is short and why. Main result so far: 30,139 time entries logged by 90 people since June 2026.
Who we built it for
Fame is a B2B podcast agency that has been running for six years. Its team finds and books guests, produces episodes and promotes each show for around 100 clients, and Fame Crew finds local videographers for shoots and handles the editing. Team size: about 97 people (estimate), most of them freelancers and contractors. Fame is Forge's own sister company, so we built these tools for ourselves first and still run every one of them.
Who uses it: the whole team, managers.
Managers couldn't tell missing time from a day off
A flat weekly minimum doesn't work when the team spans the UK, the Philippines and elsewhere: public holidays differ, and leave sits in a separate tracker. Managers checked timesheets against calendars and the leave tracker by hand.
Managers spent around 12 hours a week checking timesheets against calendars (estimate).
Timesheets that know about holidays
A minimum that adjusts
35 hours a week, reduced automatically for the public holidays in each person's region and their approved leave.
Calendar-aware
Reads the team calendar and the leave tracker, so nobody re-enters a day off.
Time Tracking report
Managers see their own people, heads see their department, admins see everyone.

What the managers used before
Checking timesheets against calendars and a separate leave tracker by hand.
Monthly cost of what came before: £90 a month (estimate)
What changed for the managers
How we look after the time tracking and timesheets
Forge built this for Fame and looks after it: errors are reported automatically to an error tracker, and anything that stops someone doing their job is fixed the same day.

What it would cost a client today
Start with the 2-week ops audit ($2,500 / £2,000, credited to your first month). A tool like this then fits the starter plan at $2,000 / £1,600 a month, with this as the first build included. Timesheets are one team and one workflow, so they fit starter.
Plans have a 3-month minimum. AI usage is passed on at cost, and the tool runs on your own accounts, so you own it. See pricing for the full breakdown.
Would this work for your firm?
If your people log time and your managers check it by hand, this gives managers that time back. It suits accounting firms and law firms with billable-hours targets as much as agencies.

Questions about building a time tracking and timesheets
Can timesheets handle different public holidays for each country?
Yes. Fame's weekly minimum drops automatically by each public holiday in the person's region.
Does it work with our leave tracker?
Fame's reads approved leave from its existing leave tracker and the team calendar, so nobody enters a day off twice.
Who can see whose timesheets?
Managers see their own people, heads of department see their department, admins see everyone.
Who owns the tool once it's built?
You do. It runs on your own accounts and you pay those tool costs directly; we monitor it, fix it and keep improving it on the monthly plan.
